Black Consciousness Coaching & DEI Consulting

Dr Nia Nunn | Black Consciousness Coach &

DEI Consultant

For Dr. Nia Nunn’s work, Black Consciousness is a way of thinking and being. The work offers a curricular methodology centering knowledge of and actions recognizing a history, present, and future that interrupts the internalization of anti-Blackness. A core element of the pedagogy is motivated by honoring specificity unapologetically, as it teaches the brilliance, boldness, and beauty of Black people and the identity of Blackness.  Any anti-racist work will only be authentic & successful if it begins with a Black Consciousness lens.

From elementary schools, nursing homes, to corporate board rooms, Dr. Nia Nunn’s Black Consciousness Curriculum is an inter-generational approach to Anti-racist work.

Her pedagogy, Radical Vulnerability™, is an authentic self-discovery that processes our lives and identities, including childhood realities and other roots relevant to who we are and how we were made. It’s an invitation to critically reflect and uncover ourselves.

Radical Vulnerability™ is an experience that offers racial consciousness work through a self-study within a collective framework. With this experience, Dr. Nia Nunn nurtures and engages clients of all ages, through a transformative emotional and intellectual journey.  Radical Vulnerability™ is a multilayered package designed for any group of people welcoming critical reflection.

A self-study within a collective, this work centers anti-racist consciousness and honoring a Black femme oral tradition, it is a transformative adventure that includes storytelling, writing exercises, literacy events, listening, reading, watching, thinking, feeling, and breathing -together. With self-compassion, clients embrace different ways of being authentic in spaces and contributing to critically conscious communities.
